This table is five feet long without the leaves and extends to eight feet long with both leaves in. Each leaf is 18" long, and insert in the middle of the table by a gear shaft mechanism. There is a double pedestal that is sturdy and creates great support for the table. The colour black walnut is highly recommended for this set. The chairs are a smaller version of our R749 chair. The back of the chair has a lumbar support for added comfort.
